Quality Assurance System

All vessels are manufactured according to Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) duly approved by customers / third party inspectors.

Following is a list of various Quality Control documents maintained at different stages of equipment manufacture

  • Material Charts / Material Identification Reports

  • Stagewise Inspection Reports

  • Visual Inspection Reports

  • Final Dimensional Reports

  • Pressure Test Reports (Pneumatic/ Hydro.)

  • Radiography Reports & LP Test Reports

  • NDT Reports, as required

  • Other Reports (for Painting, Pickling Passivation etc.) are generated per job requirement

Several checks are made at various stages of fabrication to ensure product accuracy

  • Dimensional Measurements

Various instruments including measuring tape, bore dial guage, vernier calipers, micrometer, steel ruler, outside & inside calipers, height guage, spirit level, water level, ultrasonic thickness guage, etc. are available for accurate dimensional measurements.

  • Pressure Tests

Pressure guages of various ranges are used according to the required test pressure.

  • Surface Finish Measurements

Ra value meter is to used to accurately measure surface finish of SS plates.

  • Calibration

All instruments are duly calibrated at predetermined intervals to ensure their accuracy. A detailed calibration report for all the instruments is prepared to ensure timely calibration. Calibration is performed at reputed laboratories.
